Denver Bathroom Cabinet Space Saving Tips
If there is one thing may individuals wish they had more of within a home, it’s likely storage space. Clutter and not having the ability to put everything “in its place” is often the cause of stress for homeowners who eventually end up performing some type of purge in order to free up additional areas only to see them overcrowded far too soon. It’s an unfortunate cycle and nowhere is this more prevalent than in the bathroom - a space typically already limited in functional square footage for storage.

While multiple “life hacks” and bathroom space saver ideas exist, most homeowners would prefer to have their bathroom designed with functional storage space already incorporated. Whether you are on the verge of a bathroom remodeling project or building a new construction, consider each of these following options to maximize storage capabilities within your bathrooms.

The obvious choice is to consider a design which incorporates useful storage and space to take care of all your personal items, towels, and other bathroom necessities. While ideally there would be options for these types of construction modifications or incentives, many people are limited dealing with existing water lines, toilets, and plumbed sinks. If you can move something, consider a corner sink to maximize countertop space and the ability to add storage cabinets on either side.

Cabinet Shelving
While large cavernous cabinetry is important in the kitchen to store larger pots, pans, and other items - the same is not necessarily true in the bathroom. Install some shelving to double, triple, or even quadruple your surface areas for which to store items that may typically clutter countertops.

Offset Options
Some well placed trim and new drywall work can create open shelving within a restroom between wall studs. This newfound offset can then be painted or covered in order to match existing cabinetry throughout the space.

Unused Space
Consider adding cabinetry onto unused wall space. Two of the best areas for use would be above an entrance or closet door and above the toilet. Both of these areas are traditionally reserved for some type of decoration but a new cabinet could greatly enhance the amount of storage space in your current bathroom.
